George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Idris Elba Talk About the 2014 Hollywood Cover.
They join Jared Leto, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lupita Nyong’o, Margot Robbie, and more on set with Annie Leibovitz.
Nobody can flirt like old buddies Julia Roberts and George Clooney. But in front of Annie Leibovitz’s camera lens, it was the friendly frisson between Roberts and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom star Idris Elba that became the centerpiece of this year’s Vanity Fair March cover.
For Leibovitz’s Hollywood Issue opener shoot, she gathered 12 stars from this year’s most-fêted movies: Elba, Roberts, and Clooney, plus Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station), Naomie Harris (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), Brie Larson (Short Term 12), Chadwick Boseman (42), Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street), and Léa Seydoux (Blue Is the Warmest Color). In this exclusive video from on set at the shoot, which was styled by V.F. Fashion and Style Director Jessica Diehl, check out the friendly chemistry among this group of incredible actors.
