Lara Stone graces the pages of the latest issue of The Edit July 2014, an issue dedicated to the body.
The dutch beauty celebrates a year of motherhood and getting back into shape by way of a softer themed shoot.
A year after giving birth to her son, Alfred, Stone worked hard with trainer James Duigan to change her lifestyle and reclaim her body, with the aim of becoming stronger, healthier and more toned. Not only she achived her goal but now she is stronger, healthier and more toned.“Nine months [after the birth] i began feeling more normal and i started to fit into my old clothes again, but my body still felt different. Now i feel a lot more balanced. My energy is much steadier. I feel stronger and more confident” , Lara confesses.
The model also talks about accepting the changes her body went through after being pregnant. “Everyone’s got arm flab or saggy boobs. It’s the way it is. I’m just trying to accept it right now. And it’s OK, because the things women can do with their bodies are amazing,” she tells The Edit.
Photographed by Ben Weller and styled by Natalie Brewster the model is the picture of perfection and as “The Edit” dubs her “Sexy, Strong and full of Surprises”
